I love to cook. Some people have workshops, others have hobby rooms, I have my kitchen. That is my relaxing arena. I began cooking for my family when I was twelve and I fell in love with the culinary arts.
I have no formal culinary training, but I love to study cooking at a very basic level. I believe the most effective culinary artists are so because they understand food at a molecular level. Actions and reactions are what make up the cooking world. If I can understand that level, I can create a culinary masterpiece out of anything on the planet.
I also believe that every natural ingredient(vegetables, fruits, meats, etc), not the processed stuff, can be enjoyed by every person if i prepared properly.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything! Baking has been my Kryptonite, but I am slowing conquering it. I am gaining a great appreciation for the delicacy so many baked dishes require.
My cooking triumphs
Anything I can fuse gourmet coffee into is a triumph for me. I have made Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Rice Krispies...awesome.
