Easy Guacamole

Reviewed: May 25, 2014
I cut down on the onion and instead of diced tomato I drained a can of Rotel with green chilies. It was "gone" in no time.

Best Hamburger Ever

Reviewed: May 25, 2014
This is the second time I made these burgers. The first time made as written. I did use reduced sodium soy sauce and made the onion soup mix recipe from this site. The second time I left out the oregano and rosemary. We like it much better without it. This make 6-7 nice sized burgers.

Southwestern Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: May 19, 2014
I sauteed chicken chunks in olive oil with 1tsp cajun seasoning and 1tsp chili powder. Also added 1tsp garlic powder, 1 can drained corn and drained black beans. It was very bland and thick. Crushed taco chips on top. Not a family favorite. Won't make again.

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: May 7, 2014
This recipe is FANTASTIC! I seasoned the chicken with 1/2 TBLS cajun seasoning. We added the pesto to a jar of garlic alfredo sauce and a whole bag of spinach. No leftovers for my lunch. Hubby said keep this one!

Grampa's Coriander Turkey Sausage

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
Made this turkey sausage the other day then forgot about it so it sat in the fridge for 2 days. Next time I make this I'm going to up the seasoning and add sage. I use the leaner turkey to cut back on the fat content and only used 1/2 tsp black pepper. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

German Pork Chops and Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2013
We love this recipe. I used 3 pork chops and a whole bag of kraut. I only used 1/4 cup of brown sugar and next time I'm going to try 1/8 cup. You can always add more but you can't take it away if it's too sweet. This would be awesome in the crock pot.

Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2013
Whenever I try making a new salad dressing I always half the recipe. The only thing I used 1/2 tbls minced onions and 1/2 tsp sugar and the rest was exactly as written. The crushed red pepper flakes give it a little nice kick. This is a GREAT recipe. Going to marinade some chicken tenders tonight. Should be great too!

Easy Pork Chops Dijon

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
Made these last night. I used EVOO instead of the spray Pam. I only made 3 port chops and I'm glad I did because there wasn't any extra sauce. The sauce that was there tasted good (my daughter didn't think so).

Oven Omelet

This is a GREAT base recipe. I added chopped red pepper and green onions. You can add just about anything to the recipe and it still will be a meal. Hubby loved it and wants me to make it again tomorrow morning.

Cheesy Beef Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2013
My daughter comes out of her room and says, "yeah hamburger helper". This is glorified hamburger helper. Not bad, not great. Made on the stove top, cut the noodles in half; way too many.

Double Quick Dinner Rolls

These rolls were so good and very easy to make. They were very sticky so I used two spoons to get it into the muffin pan. This recipe is so versatile. Definitely a keeper for sure.
