About this Cook
I love to cook! Making dinner for my teenage son is the best, he tries and seems to like all the things I make. My daughter, who is now eating solids, is also fun to cook for! I also enjoy making cocktails, baking, cake decorating and trying to replicate favorite restaurant recipes. Other than cooking, I love spending time with my children and my sisters. I also enjoy working on my new first blog project, www.operationmomshell.com -- check it out!
My favorite things to cook
Appetizers (little miracles), Cakes, Cookies, Ethnic Foods--- Really anything that I think of that sounds good!
My favorite family cooking traditions

My cooking triumphs
Tamales, Naan, Makhani Murg, Drunken Chicken, Lemon Pepper Shrimp (Like PF Changs Woo Hoo!) Flourless Chocolate Cake, Fondant, Flour Tortillas...
My cooking tragedies

Naan
Great tasting Naan! Good recipe! I needed to let the dough rest longer, they were a bit chewy. We still ate and enjoyed them. I will definitely be trying this one again!

Heavenly White Cake
Moist cake with good texture! I will be adding more vanilla and almond next time because it had a very overwhelming egg and milk taste. The taste was not that bad, but I would have rather tasted the vanilla.

Claire's Yummy Crepes
After I poured the batter on the griddle, I noticed that I was going to need some butter in the batter. I added 1Tbs of unsalted butter and then rest were great! I filled with strawberries and cream.
