Mexican Bean Salad

Not a bad recipe, but definately use the other suggestions in the reviews - it was a huge hit at a potluck with just a few tweaks. I used 1/2 of the oil and vinegar and it was the perfect amount. I also used garbanzo beans instead of cannellini - I think it gives a nice variety in the texture. I thought the dressing was a little over-spiced though, I would less spices, maybe specifically use less black pepper, if I make it again.

Bechamel Sauce

Great recipe! I've made it a couple of times and it's turned out great both times. I never have half-and-half, so I use 1/2 c. heavy cream and 1/2 c. skim milk and it turns out wonderfully. I also use black pepper instead of white. Last time I added in some red bell pepper and red onion I cooked with no oil on a nonstick skillet, and it turned out very pretty and tasted great!
