Vegetarian Korma

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
This is absolutely delicious! After 3 disasterous attempts at making Indian food, I gave up much to the dissapointment of my boyfriend and my dad. I didn't try again until this recipe, and it brought me back! I was sloppy with the spices, as I felt it needed more, and I added red pepper flakes and cayenne, just for warmth. This is a keeper!

Strawberry Nut Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
Ok you guys, I got it. I tried this recipe on a whim this morning as I went strawberry picking yesterday and the muffins are FANTASTIC!!! Follow the recipe as is (I used a little less sugar as my strawberries are very sweet and ripe),use a smidgen more cinnamon and only use 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. As suggested my a previous reviewer use 1 egg, 1/4 cup oil, and 1 cup milk. Also mix in 1 and 1/4 cup chopped strawberries and 1 cup finely chopped (use food processor) pecans. Use muffin tin liners and fill to top, quickly mix up heaping tbs. of flour, heaping tbs brown sugar and 1 tbs butter, mix until crumbly and sprinkle on top. *This crumble is magic, it wont stay on top, but sinks in a bit for a delicious little extra oomph! BAKE FOR 20 MIN. And voila! Moist, cakey, strawberry-y muffins!

Angel Food Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
I don't like Angel Food Cake and this was also my first try making it. It was a hit as my Grandma's 90th Birthday Cake. It was completely demolished. Easy to follow, simple recipe!

Soft Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
These were great! It was a rainy afternoon and I wanted something chocolatey. I had no chocolate chips, but some unsweetened cocoa and this is the perfect plain chocolate cookie. HOWEVER, def more brownie like than cake like or cookie like. Still fantastic!!! Very moist in the center yummm. ONE THING: 1/4 tsp less salt.

Greek Salad I

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
Effing delicious. But just like other reviewers suggested, keep dressing and salad separate, as overnight they get mushy.

Greek Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
I made this and a Greek salad last night at 11 pm for my boyfriend and I. IT WAS FANTASTIC! I whipped it up and it was refreshing and crunchy and very satisfying. I followed the recipe exactly as it said, and found maybe just a tad bland. I think a touch of chili or paprika would really boost it up to 5 star worthy! Overall though, GREAT!
