Simple Taco Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
Recipe as is gets 4 stars. Really really really easy and yummy. Only 4 stars because it is really thick, almost too thick to be soup, feels more like chili. Personally, to make it a 5 star in our home, we add a LOT more water. Don't measure it, just until it is to the consistency that we like it (keeping in mind that we'll add fritos and cheese and sour cream on top). Other than that, it is the best and easiest recipe to follow. Every time I make it I get compliments and people ask for the recipe.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
Absolutely the best home-made lasagna ever! It tastes like you got it at a restaurant. It takes time, but we were warned. It is just delish and I had no idea the sugar made all the difference. At least for us it did. It is what gave it that "restaurant/Italian" flavor. Next time I make lasagna, it'll be this one for sure!

Manicotti Alla Romana

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
This was delicious! It tastes just like something you would order in a restaurant. I only gave it four stars though because it does take some time to make and it is not a recipe that I can just make whenev. It requires planning and purchasing in advance, and time. If not for that, it is definitely a 5 just based on flavor!

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
One of the best meat recipes ever! At first I was very hesitant of the method of cooking, but it was perfect and really foolproof. I have made this twice now and loved it both times. It is definitely going to replace my slow cooked recipe with the mushroom soup. This is a lot healthier too and the seasonings are yummy. P.S.--I added a teaspoon of cumin and fresh diced garlic to the meat. And instead of regular salt I use Kosher salt. I poked holes in it and made sure I rubbed inside all the holes too so that the flavor could really soak in. My two year-old even kept asking for more. It was AMAZING!
