This was SO good and easy! I let the meat get to room temperature, seasoned with salt and pepper then seared on high heat on each side. Once in the slow cooker I added a handful of crushed garlic cloves and about half an onion. After about 6 hours I took the meat out, sliced super thin and returned to slow cooker for an additional hour. I broiled the bread and melted some gruyere (left over from when I made french onion soup) and mozzarella. We LOVED it. My boyfriend added a little horseradish sauce to his. These turned out so so good. And the leftovers were even better. Will be making again.
