this lasagna was AWESOME! i'll make it over and over. like other reviewers, i added ingredients. i also used my own sauce, arrabbiata, which is fantastic. to the original recipe i added spinach, sauteed portobello mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and parmesan cheese. amazing...highly recommend!

Simple Scones

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2011
i've never eaten or made scones. i made this recipe for a friend who said she likes scones. very simple! i follow the advice of other reviewers and used a food processor. i tried one, of course. very tasty!! i used dried cranberries instead of raisins. can't wait to try the other varieties!

Butternut Squash and Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
this is a good base chili recipe. the butternut squash makes it extra special! and the turkey helps to reduce some of the fat. i used fire roasted tomatoes, omitted the hominy and replaced it with chickpeas. i've also added black beans and corn. still awesome!

No Bakes

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2006
This is the best no bake oatmeal cookie recipe I've ever used. I have tried several no bake recipes in the past, and the cookies never would set up. I've made this one several times now, with success every time! The ingredients are the same as many other recipes, but the technique is slightly different. Great recipe!

Easy Beef Strogonoff

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2003
I liked this recipe. It called for a little too much sour cream. However, I'll probably make it again with a few modifications.

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2003
This was really good. I used garlic/herb bread crumbs instead. I also drizzled the chicken with olive oil and put pasta sauce in the bottom of the dish. Even my picky fiance liked it. It was very easy too. I will definitely make this again!

Horseradish Burgers

Reviewed: May 24, 2003
Taste of the burgers was good, but I had a difficult time getting them to stay together on the grill. They crumbled very quickly.

Tasty Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2003
This was okay. I used breast tenders instead of bone in chicken. The flavor didn't pack the punch for which I was hoping. My fiance liked it, though, and he rarely likes anything.

Carnation® Quiche Lorraine

The taste was really good. I would've liked less cheese. I also had to extend the baking time to almost an hour.

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2002
The taste is great, but sometimes, believe it or not, the texture is too creamy and difficult to cut, no matter how long I let it set. However, everone who tries it always asks for the recipe. However, I like a somewhat drier taste.

This icing is really simple and good. When I made it, it was a little runnier than I had expected, but the taste was still fantastic.

Shredded Chicken Filling

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2002
I loved this recipe. It was really easy. However, I was unable to find tomatillos in the grocery store, so I used diced tomatoes instead. The result seemed just as good. I also added jalapenos to mine to give it more of a bite. I will use this again!
