Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
Your recipe is the same one I use. I also make a double batch of sauce for mashed potatoes. It is different than the typical Salisbury Steak and is my favorite.

Seasoned Noodle Mix

I used 2 bouillon cubes. My husband and I have had this twice. Very good side dish or main dish. Thanks for the recipe. I did not bake it. I cooked it on top of the stove.

Lemon Zucchini Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
This is a pretty good recipe. I did expect more of a lemon flavor using 1/4 cup lemon juice and I did cut down on the sugar. Very moist. Thanks for the recipe.

Farmer's Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
I have not tried this particular salad, but I have made the dressing to use in other salads. To this one I would add some radishes cut into bite size pieces. I am not a radish fan, but have found I really like them using this salad. As for too many calories -- moderation is always the key. Thanks for the recipe.

Gluten Free Danish

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
I don't know what I did wrong. I followed the recipe, but my batter was like a pancake batter - way too thin to make what the picture looks like. I ended up treating it as a cake batter and swirled the raspberry jam in the mixture. When I took it out of the oven, I immediately smeared on more raspberry jam. When it was cool, I drizzled the icing over the top. It tastes very good. I will try it again to see if I made a mistake in the amount of milk. Anyway, thanks for the recipe!

This is really good. When I lived in Mexico, I also had it on coconut pieces. I liked it also.

Leftover Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
My husband and I had this with leftover ham. I wasn't sure from the directions if the macaroni was suppose to be cooked and drained first. I just added it dry. I used 2 cups dry macaroni. Also I used frozen mixed vegetables, so I added a little water to be sure there was enough liquid. Thanks for a good recipe.

Zucchini Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
This is good. Had it for supper and breakfast this a.m. Texture is more custardy than a regular quiche. I used free range eggs which brought out more color. Very pretty dish. I wonder if this could be made into little appetizer quiches.

Apple Puff Pancake

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
I enjoyed this recipe. Think it would be good with apricot jam and apples and maybe some pecan pieces. I didn't think the sauce was too runny, but it could be the jelly I used (cheap brand). Thanks for the recipe.

Cabbage Cakes

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2012
Great side dish. I used self-rising flour so I did not have to add the baking powder or baking soda. I also didn't have plain yogurt, so I used sour cream. Thanks for the recipe.
