Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2010
i made it this afternoon. it took about two hours to make, after waiting for the pastry sheets to thaw. then the additional cooking time. i added pepperoni's to mine, and used 8 eggs instead of 6. it was SO DELICIOUS! loved it.

Braided Easter Egg Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
i made this for a little party at a coworkers house. i baked cookies and placed them around the platter, and put candy in the center. the bread was sweet and soft on the inside, and the crust was just the right amount of toughness. Delicious and cute. people even ate the eggs.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
my mom's been making these for a couple of years, since she heard about them from girls at work, and i've been making them for a year or so. they're absolutely delicious, and yes, i found out the hard way that you MUST let the cake cool before mixing the icing into the crumbled cake! i like to get a second thing of icing, and add just a little bit more icing to mine. makes them even MORE moist and delicious. i made them for people at work and friend,s, family, etc; they ALL loved them, and ranted and raved about them--they called them "mary's chocolate balls." hahha among the "ball" recipes they're probably the easiest--i prefer oreo truffles now, but they take longer, to make. and in the end, i started off with cake balls!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
very good recipe, easy to add your own twists to it and make it your own as well. coming from the south, we're very cajun-and-creole-country, so it's nice to be able to manipulate the sauce a little bit to form a seafood spaghetti or something more like hat my mom and grandmothers have always made. good italian though. definitely would make again!!! best with home made pasta.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2010
They turned out ok. Much too cake-likem even though i added less flour. I did one batch with powdered sugar and it was really bland. So i did another with some home-made icing and they were better. Not my favorite though.

Frosted Cocoa Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
i made my own icing, and deviated a little bit with the cocoa amounts. they were so delicious, i brought them to a party today-- about 50 or 60 of them-- and they were gone in 2 hours. i got lots of compliments! however, if you aren't a fan of almond--like me-- try using just plain vanilla instead of the almond. or maybe another of your favorite extracts. i don't mind the almond, but i like just a plain chocolate icing as well.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2010
they were SO GOOD. so easy to make! i recommend cooking right at 35--don't overcook, and do NOT use too much vanilla. especially if you have a strong extract. but talk about simple recipe, and all the brownies were GONE in less than a day! i made another batch to bring for a friend's birthday the next day.
