French Baguettes

These French baguettes DID come out crisp on the outside and rather moist and chewy on the inside. However, I feel that the taste just really didn't do it for me; it was not light like I imagined, but rather a little heavy on the salt and too dense. The texture was the only satisfying feature of the baguette I made.

Strawberry Muffins

These were pretty good. They were the second muffins I've ever made (first being the "To die for blueberry muffins"). I made very minor changes, one of which was using frozen strawberries instead of fresh, but I don't feel that it makes a difference. Though I read that some people did complain about the frozen strawberries having a "watery" taste, that did not happen with mine at all; they were sweet, soft, and jam-like, and I was content with them. Another change I made was adding a bit of vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon, though the muffins still tasted a lot less strong than expected, which I kind of like because do I enjoy the subtle sweetness of the strawberries. However, my boyfriend told me that he liked the blueberry ones a lot more, and said that these were too bland for his tastes.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These were amazing! First muffins I've ever tried baking, and turned out far better than expected! Although the "crumb topping" did look kind of funny after baking, it was delicious and a good compliment with the rest of the muffin. I also used frozen blueberries instead, but it tasted great, and I don't think it (being frozen) has a noticeable impact on the outcome of the muffin.

Amish White Bread

This is the first bread I've ever baked, and I must admit that it turned out a LOT better than I could have hoped for! The softness of the texture was just perfect for me, and the crust was nice and tender as well. Thank you so much!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

These are absolutely delicious! It's my first time baking dinner rolls, and I'm surprised at how heavenly they've turned out! The only change I've made is using vanilla-flavored soy milk instead of regular milk. I think it makes the bread slightly sweeter, and I love it!
