President Ford's Braised Eye Round Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
A delicious, easy, go-to meal as is. When simmered long enough (which for me, was nearly 2 hours) these steaks become fork tender. I use a GIGANTIC skillet and double the liquids for extra extra gravy because it is very tastey!

No-Peek Beef Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
I omitted the onion soup and used beef broth instead (though the soup would have been just as delicious). I also added some chopped vegetables. Simmered on low for 10 hours and it was SPOON tender. Though very tasty, it wasn't a real eye-pleaser so we topped it with shredded cheese and sliced scallions. DELISH!

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
Very moist! I did add 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper and one egg (I've never made meatballs without an egg). A very simple and delicious recipe!

Lemon Bars I

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I loved this recipe!! And so did my family. My fiance had AT LEAST three servings today. My only gripe is that I got about 12 decent-sized squares out of this recipe, not the 16 it accounts for. I also have a funky oven so I didn't need as much baking time for the second round. But it was so delicious that it's still getting the full 5 stars. By the way, these were my FIRST *homemade* lemon bars, so thank you SO MUCH for this lovely recipe.

Maple Teriyaki Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I love cooking with fish and this was the best salmon I have EVER prepared! My fiance loved it (and he's not a seafood lover by any means). I used green onion for what was called and it was perfect. Thank you so much!!

Campbell's® Slow-Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
We love this recipe!! It is easy and smells so delicious... and tastes even better!! Instead of water, I add chicken broth and a little white wine and it comes out perfect. This is comfort food at it's best.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
These were so delicious and VERY easy!! My chops were boneless and 1 1/4" thick and I had to bake them at 350 for about an hour (15 more minutes that the recipes calls for). They stayed juicy and plump and the gravy was delicious!! I had some sliced, raw cremini mushrooms leftover from a stirfry and threw them into the gravy mixture before it went into the oven. Those little things soaked up so much delicious flavor! This is now my go-to recipe for pork chops :-)

Campbell's Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
Very good! I did make some changes though. I mixed 1/4 C milk and 1/4 C sour cream with the can of cheddar soup. I added some chopped, cooked bacon and shredded jack cheese to the mix as well. The flavors were perfect. Next time, I will use crushed crackers and butter instead of the bread crumbs for a crisper texture on top.

Zucchini Casserole II

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
I've had dishes like this before but they've tasted a lot better than mine did. The zucchini released a lot of water while cooking that formed a pond in the bottom of the dish. I also found the onion a bit overwhelming so I wish I didn't add as much.
