Vegan Brownies
This was my first attemp at vegan bakin, and I think this was a good place to start. The reason I did not give this 5 stars is because it was not truly vegan, but that was easy to fix. I swapped out the white sugar for raw, and used an unbleached whole grain flour or something like that that my husband got at the grocery store. I used 1/4 cup of vegetable oil and 3/4 of apple sauce. Lastly, I used almost 1 cup of the cocoa powder as opposed to 3/4. These came out VERY moist. It took them a little longer to bake, close to 35 minutes, before I finally felt they weren't too gooey. The first piece I tried was a corner and it was a little dry, but I just had another bite of the middle portion and it was delicious. My husband loved them. I will definitely make these again!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
My fiance and I went apple picking yesterday and he requested a pie. I found this recipe at the last minute and had to try it because of all the reviews. Some changes I made were that I added one tablespoon of cinnamon to the mix, only had salted butter, and poured half of the mix over the apples and half over the crust. I baked it for an hour at 350, and turned it up to 425 for about 10 minutes at the end to make the crust nice and crispy. It came out AMAZING!!! We just had the cake tasting for our wedding on friday, but my fiance told me he wished we could just have this apple pie at the wedding instead (whilst eating his second giant slice!)!!

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken
I love this dish! My boyfriend loves it so much he asked me to make it for his mom the first time I met her and it was a huge hit! Its easy and the cheesy filling is delicious. To make it a little crispier I skip the butter and only sprinkle lemon juice and a little garlic powder on top (the first time the butter inhibited the crunchiness).
