Wings In Cola

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2001
I made this for the first time with Dr. Pepper as the cola for an open house and it was a huge success. The true test is that my husband loved it and asked me to make another batch just for him!

Linguine Pasta with Shrimp and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
Came home today with tomatoes from a roadside stand & found this recipe waiting in my inbox. Didn't have shrimp in the freezer but used leftover cooked / chopped chicken breast. Followed the recipe as is & all I can say is "MMM! This is a keeper!"

Kentucky Hot Brown

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
I found Kristie's recipe a few years ago at Derby time and now it's an annual tradition at our house! Be sure to saute the fresh mushrooms until lightly browned for more flavor. We love it!

Pita Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
We've been doing these for years because it's the perfect do-it-yourself idea for large groups. You can chop, slice, prep ahead of time & have one person manning the grill. Everyone loves it because they choose their own favorite toppings! Some other choices: marinated artichokes, olives, red onion, peppers (green, red, hot, pickled), spinach, broccoli, fresh basil. Your favorite spaghetti sauce from the jar works just fine, too, and is less expensive than pizza sauce!

Reuben Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2005
I've been asked to make this again for a fundraising lunch - it's also a hit with my family! You can go lighter with a milk/half and half combination and it's still fantastic!

Thai Grilled Chicken with Sweet Chile Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2004
WOW! This chicken is identical to the Gai Yang from my favorite Thai restaurant! It's so tender and flavorful. I skipped the cilantro (not a fan of it) and there was plenty of zing from the other spices. I served with jasmine rice. The dipping sauce needed some extra sugar. I've been looking for this recipe for years! THANK YOU MICHELLE!

Margarita Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2003
Yummy! I've made this for two different events - it was easy, moist and looks as great as it tastes. It can be made a day or two ahead and covered with no problem. It has more of an orange dreamsicle flavor than a traditional margarita, though. Anyway, it's a keeper!
