Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
I am only rating this 4 stars because I didn't make the sauce, so I don't know how that tastes, but these meatballs are amazing! They are tender and moist. Flavorful. Everything that meatballs should be. This is my new go-to meatball recipe!

Home Made Mayonnaise

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2012
I have tried to make mayo before in the blender and it was upredictable whether it would emulsify or not. This time, I put the egg in warm water first (i didn't want to wait for it to come to room temp), and I used the stick blender. It was amazing! I'll never use the blender again. The flavor of this mayo is really good too! Thanks!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2010
We make these all the time for a quick meal that almost everyone in our family loves! We sub water for the broth, use powdered ginger, and add cayenne or red pepper flakes instead of the chili paste. So easy! (And for the moms out there, we just make extra noodles and keep them plain for butter and seasonings for the picky kids! :)

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
We love this recipe! Our son is going gluten free because of stomach problems, and we really missed brownies and cakes. No more! This is amazing! And so easy...We make this in a 4 cup measuring cup. First, we melt the butter and chocolate chips (1/2 bag) in the microwave and stir it til smooth, then we add all the other ingredients on top, mix it up and pour it in the pan. It does not get any easier than that! Thanks Shana!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
Delicious Muffins! My husband said that we should put this topping on everything I cook from now on! :) I doubled the recipe and it made 20 regular size muffins that I cooked for 15-20 minutes. Yum!

Lemon Square Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2006
We made this with 3/4 cup of lemon juice, otherwise exactly as written. They were delicious! My dh said they were just like his mom's and they were the first things to disappear at our picnic today! Thanks for the great recipe!

Absolutely wonderful! I didn't have any wine, so I just skipped it, and it turned out great! Even my kids liked it! Well, except the 7 year old who won't eat salmon! :)

Orange Cream Milkshake

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2005
Tastes like an Orange Julius with ice cream. Needs something sweet to take the tart edge off. Maybe banana?

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2003
We make this all the time....It is sooo good and we were raised on Chicago Italian Beef! The only changes that I make are that I use beef broth instead of water (or soup base and water) and I use Zesty Italian dressing mix. Oh, and sometimes we add half a jar of pepperocini peppers. Great recipe!

Spam on the Go

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2003
This was really easy and very good. I doubled the amount of noodles and sauce and it was more than enough to serve our family of 5. My husband even downloaded the "Spam song" from Monty Python to listen to as we ate. :) Thanks for the great recipe!

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2003
This was really good. I doubled the sauce to serve over mashed potatoes and made the meat into meatballs instead of patties. All three kids and my husband ate it. It wasn't the most gourmet meal ever, but I didn't expect it to be. I will make this again.

Grandma's Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2003
Wow! This cake is wonderful! I made it for my Nana's birthday this weekend and everyone was really impressed. Of course, I didn't follow the directions and cool the cake and the filling, so it wasn't as pretty as it could have been, but we did not care. My mom and Nana said that the fudge sauce was just like the one my Nana used to make when my mom was little but much easier to make. They both went home with the recipe in their pockets. Thanks Joyce!
