About this Cook
I am a Christian homeschooling mom to 5 wonderful kids, ages 1-12. I love to cook, read, and have fun with my family.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake - especially delicious desserts for my crew! I am always trying new recipes, and with seven of us, there's always some more food to make!

Home Made Mayonnaise
I have tried to make mayo before in the blender and it was upredictable whether it would emulsify or not. This time, I put the egg in warm water first (i didn't want to wait for it to come to room temp), and I used the stick blender. It was amazing! I'll never use the blender again. The flavor of this mayo is really good too! Thanks!

Peanut Butter Noodles
We make these all the time for a quick meal that almost everyone in our family loves! We sub water for the broth, use powdered ginger, and add cayenne or red pepper flakes instead of the chili paste. So easy! (And for the moms out there, we just make extra noodles and keep them plain for butter and seasonings for the picky kids! :)

Flourless Chocolate Cake II
We love this recipe! Our son is going gluten free because of stomach problems, and we really missed brownies and cakes. No more! This is amazing! And so easy...We make this in a 4 cup measuring cup. First, we melt the butter and chocolate chips (1/2 bag) in the microwave and stir it til smooth, then we add all the other ingredients on top, mix it up and pour it in the pan. It does not get any easier than that! Thanks Shana!
