I used 8 mostly smallish fresh fron the tree peaches, cut the water to 1 cup, baked for 1 hour and left the rest as listed.
I was very nervous because I was taking this dish to a family dinner. My mother in law and her mother make a wonderful peach cobbler. This was a last minute thing and this was all I had to take. So....
Everyone really liked it. However, the peaches tasted more like apples. Most likely the cinnamon helped this idea along. We dubbed it the "peach haters peach cobbler". It went over quite well, but not what a expected. Still it will most likely show up at my house again. Not bad.
