Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2011
I add 1/2 lb of chopped bacon to mine, I never use anything but real cheese sometimes cheddar and other times a fiesta blend of cheeses, I put the chiles in only sometimes and I never use the country style gravy mix, I always just add a few tablespoons of cornstarch to my milk before adding it to the pot. I also brown my veggies in a few tablespoons of the left over bacon fat (really not very good for you, but it's delicious!) I think this is a great recipe and it's easy to add your own twist to suit your own taste!

This soup is delicious! I was happy to make one that didn't require a "cheese product" and used real cheddar. Yum!

Salisbury Steak

My husband loved this, but I think it was a bit tangy... I'm guessing because of the condensed french onion soup. Not bad overall though!

Peanut Butter and Fudge Swirl Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
This was good, rich, but good. My husband isn't much of a "cheese cake" fan and disliked that he could taste the cream cheese so distinctly. So, I think next time I make it, I'll use a bit more than 1/4 C of peanut butter. I also used Dark Chocolate Hot Fudge... delish!

absolutely fantastic! I used buttermilk instead of regular milk and they came out fantastic! I also add a crumb topping with italian seasoned bread crumbs and melted butter and extra cheese and WOW! These are great!

Chicken Lo Mein

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
I think this is a great recipe, I used chinese fried noodles instead of pasta. I do think next time I'll skip the oyster sauce... makes it a bit too fishy tasting for me. Overall, very tasty!
