My favorite things to cook
I love to use ingredients that remind me of my home state of California, such as fresh avocados, sprouts, and good wine, as well as experiment with food and techniques from the South (I live in Tennessee now).
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother's cooking was rooted in Pennsylvania/German traditions. I tend to experiment a lot more with spices and international flare to my dishes.
My cooking triumphs
I'm getting to be much more adept at desserts, which used to be the bane of my cooking existence!
My cooking tragedies
I wasn't paying attention and added 1/4c of salt to a batch of biscuits...it was the WORST bite of food I've ever tasted!
