Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2012
Great recipe! Easy, delicious My family really liked this. I used a packet of brown gravy mix in mine. I served it over Farfalle pasta.Next time I make this, I think i will make the whole thing in my electric skillet as another reviewer suggested and i would add sliced onions and fresh mushrooms for the sauce.

This dish was very good! I browned the beef in chile powder and minced garlic. I also used salsa. It was a little too spicy for my husband but just right for me. I added garlic powder and 1tblsp. of chile powder, This is probably a preference thing, because I love extra spicy. Loved the idea of using chicken. Thay were very good and I will make these often. You have to give them a try!Thaks for this recipe, Baker Bee, Good one.

Italian Rice Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2012
First of all, I always microwave my rice, 1 cup rice and2 cups water, 18 min. With that said, I next left cool a bit and added eggs mixture and refrigerated about a half hour. They formed balls very easily. I deep fried some of them and they tasted to bland for me. So into the rest of the mixture, I added garlic powder and chopped dried onion, also mozzarella cheese. This is a good recipe. You can just add any of your own preferences to this. We really liked them,Marinara sauce is good with them and so many other dipping sauces would be good. I will be making these again.

Ethiopian Cabbage Dish

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
This was so good! I did add some chopped garlic to it, only because I like garlic in almost everything. Love the carrots in this dish. I Just had to add a few slices, chopped bacon to this also, because I love the bacon flavor with cabbage. Also tasted before adding bacon and this is just very good as a meatless side dish. I just prefer the added flavor of bacon. Thanks for this recipe, Looking forward to making this again soon.

Pineapple Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2012
I made this for a family get together. You definitely have to drain the pineapple, which should be noted in recipe. so glad I listened to other reviewers. I used some of the juice for the whole packet of pudding and also added 1/4 cup of milk. I did everything else the same as recipe. The crust was a little to salty for my taste, but maybe it was the pretzels I used. Some of my family said they would really like it with my homemade graham cracker crust. So I think I would make it that way next time.
