Scrumptious Salisbury Steak in Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2013
This turned out really good. The whole family loved it. I did adjust it a little to our own preferences but basically the same. I used fresh mushrooms and chopped garlic, sauteed with a lot more onions in the butter, also 2 cups milk and one can of beef broth. It thickened up nicely. I served it over rotelli and sprinkled fresh chopped parsley on top,so good and also would be great over mashed potatoes. My family is looking forward to this again soon.

So good, will be making this again!

Brussels Sprouts ala Angela

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
This is very good. I browned the bacon alone in pan and then set aside and added the onions on lower heat to caramelize and added the garlic last. then returned the bacon back to pan and followed the recipe. I like using the chicken stock. I think it gives it a better flavor.

I didn't know this would be so easy to make. I didn't have any rice vinegar, so I used apple cider vinegar, next time I make it I will try the rice vinegar and see if there is a difference.Mine tasted great.I used a regular potato peeler and it came out fine.I love having this on hand.thank you

Pico de Gallo Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2012
Excellent! These were so good. The only thing I did different was shred my chicken breast, I think it lays better in the tortilla. I do believe it takes practice flipping them over. I will try that plate method someone mentioned next time. Thanyou.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2012
I thought this was a little bland. I added more garlic, onions and Italian seasoning, also I like it with bone in chicken pieces and I brown them first, then add to the crockpot. It also needed tomato paste. Mine was done in 7 hours and it was Great! Love the slow cooker method, so easy and we are having a heat wave this week in Eastern Pa. so this worked for me! Thank you for the recipe.

Ranch-Style Thighs

Reviewed: May 4, 2012
This chicken turned out very moist and crisp on top.The bottom was a little soggy, maybe should use a wire rack to bake on.I thought it was lacking flavor. I would definitely use more spices in the bread crumbs and add garlic for sure. I used 6 thighs and they were pretty big, so had to bake for 60 min. I would make this again but with a lot more spices.
