Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches
Most Excellent! Served on St. Paddy's day ... made 2 4 lb briskets which turned out not to be enough for 15 people because they kept coming back for more! Suggest putting peppercorns in a cheesecloth or strain before reusing broth as mine did not get soft and nearly I bit down on a hard one (maybe they were too old to start?!?) Also used leftover broth to cook carrots, onions and tatties as another reviewer suggested. Have already been asked by others for this recipe ... they easily replicated and love it!

Chocolate Mint Dessert Brownies
These turned out better than I had hoped since I had not tried baking brownies with chocolate syrup before. I do suggest using a quality brand however for more taste. My favorite was the icing. Could probably add a dash more Creme de Menthe than what is called for if you like more mint flavor. I also used bittersweet chocolate for the topping and cut back on the sugar a bit in recipe. I used unsalted butter, but would recommend salted for more flavor. My guests liked them and almost ate the entire pan!
