Cafeteria Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2002
I loved this recipe. I just made it and it not only looks good but it taste good. I used the 3 1/2 cups of sharp cheddar, plus the 4oz of velvetta like everyone else suggested. I used one cup of milk. Next time I might use the cup and a half to see what it turns out like. I also use bread crumbs and croutons. I think I will use croutons, they seem to hold there crunch better and have a better flavor. Wonderful recipe.

Fragrant Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2002
This was a really easy recipie. My family liked it. I put is in the oven at 325 for a couple of hours towards the end of cooking so that it would brown. When it cooks in the crock pot the skin looks raw. But even my eight year old liked it.

Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2002
This recipe was very easy. My husband loves blue cheese and he really like these burgers. I just didn't have the time to let the meat sit with the cheese in the fridge but they still turned out really good. My kids thought they were pretty good also.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2002
This was a wonderful recipe. I made it exactly the way the recipe specified. I turned out delicious. My family loved it. Next time I might cut out the white sugar completly or at least cut it in half like suggested from other responses. I would also peel the apples. That was the only hard part. Slicing all those apples. But it was worth it.

BBQ Chili Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2002
This was a great hit with my family. My husband loved the BBQ sauce flavor. I used alittle over a pound of ground turkey. I thought 1/2 pound was not enough meat. The corn was surprisingly good in it too. I might try adding some other vegatables next time. It was an easy way to get the kids to eat them.

Creole Chicken I

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2002
We really liked this recipie. I used six chicken thighs instead of eight. It really didn't have any spiceyness so maybe next time I will add more hot sauce or chilie powder.

Beth's Tex Mex Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2002
I made this for a cub scout camp out. Everyone loved it. I put in a little bit of jalapeno instead of the chilies. Gave it quite a bit of spice. Had alot of people ask for the recipie. I also put in both the cheddar and monterey jack like previously reccomended. Next time I think I will put the mayo in too to make it a bit creamier. Also I think I will use the chilies instead of the jalapeno. It was also very easy.

London Broil II

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2002
This was really good. My husband is pretty picky about having lots of spices. He thought it was really flavorful. My son was not as thrilled though. It could have just been the cut of meat.

Glazed Corned Beef with Lentils

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2002
I really liked this recipe. My whole family loved it. The only thing I would do different is to spray Pam cooking spray in the bottom of the pan I bake the corned beef in because the sauce burns on to the pan. Also I would not cook it for 40 minutes in the oven at the most 30. But my family loved it and I will hold on to this recipe.

Cocktail Meatballs I

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2001
These meatballs were wonderful. I just loved them. My two year old loved them too. She ate almost as much as I did. I looked over the reviews before I made them and did as some other people suggested. I added fresh onions instead of dry and also put them in a smaller pan so the sauce marinated the meatballs while they cooked. Delicious!!!

I made this for my family and they liked it. The only problem I had with it was getting the chicken thin enough. It had alot of good ingredients in it.
