Let's get healthy!!!

I am all about some good comfort food and yummy desserts but I have been leaning more towards the side of trying to be more healthy. I have stopped drinking pop (or soda as some of you may call it) and been working towards maintaining my weight. I have
not had a pop since December 2012. Because I have chosen to drink more water, no pop, go to the gym a little more (and it was not a resolution!! I already had a membership lol) I have lost close to 20 lbs.
Now, on to the good stuff!! I have been following sparkpeople.com and keeping track of the things I eat. They also have a TON of recipes. They begin as a good base for me and then I develop my own recipe and style. Tonight it is GUMBO and it sure smells
good. I am excited to share my healthy journey with you all.
Of course there will be some hiccups but I am ready!! Only 5-10 more pounds to get to my ideal place.
