I enjoy cooking as a hobby, and I like to try new recipes as much as cook my old favorites. I usually go by the book the first time I cook something, but I'm starting to improvise more as a I get comfortable with a new recipe or style of cooking. I love to grill chicken, pork, salmon, and steak. I also like to cook recipes with lots of prep work (cutting veggies, measuring spices, etc.). I like to cook nice meals for my wife on the rare occasion we can have a meal together without kids. I also love to have my kids help me cook. Passing on my love of cooking to my kids. A very soupy creme brulee I tried to make for my mother for her birthday. Chicken and shrimp kabobs, before I realized that the chicken would take much longer to cook than the shrimp!
