Buttery Soft Pretzels
The only ingredient I changed was to add 3 to 3 1/2 cups flour instead of the full 5 because that is what my dough would accept. The pretzels turned out too soft and sweet. I prefer the crispiness and flavor of the mall pretzels from this website, though they did taste better after they cooled and my family enjoyed them.

Black Beans and Rice
I tried it with 2 tsp of cumin, a can of tomatoes with chiles, 1 1/2 cups frozen corn, a can of beans, and chicken broth. It was great to me, but too spicy for the hubby (I think it was the chiles...). Next time I may cut back to the 1 tsp of cumin and try the chile powder and maybe some lime or cilantro. Great template recipe!

Best Brownies
Yummy! They were great, but almost too rich for us. We enjoyed them, but actually like "Brooke's Bombshell Brownies" a little better for the richness factor. I followed others' advise to mix by hand so it didn't get over-mixed. The batter ended up bubbly, but they still turned out fine and fudgy! I skipped the frosting and just used a sprinkle of powder sugar on the tops.
