About this Cook
I am a 22 years old and have always been intrigued with food! I graduated with a degree in Food science where I learned to love to cook! I spent 4 years learning about what is in the food you buy and how to develop new recipes and foods to fit the market as well as your kitchen! I am vegetarian, lactose-intolerant and won't eat anything with eggs (but love cheese!) My husband on the other hand is practically a carnivore so it makes cooking interesting!
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE TO BAKE! It is such a stress relief. I also love to make authentic mexican (as my husband is hispanic) . I also love good southern cooking and at times Italian although I find it to be expensive at times.
My cooking triumphs
Growing up with an AMAZING mom who cooked hamburger helper and shake and bake as well as "pick and poke" most nights(raising kids alone doesn't leave much time for learning to cook) I find it wonderful I even was able to teach myself how to cook!

Authentic Mexican Breakfast Tacos
My husband is mexican and is VERY picky about everything he eats. Me being a vegetarian, I can't rate this based on what I thought of it but the presentation was nice and he loved it. Although it may not be as authentic as his mom's cooking he actually asks for it quite often and that is very uncommon with him! Sometimes I add peppers and onions but he actually prefers it without. We always use homeade flour tortillas and hot sauce, half the salsa. Thanks for the recipe!

No Bake Cookies V
yummy! the best no bake cookie on this site in my opinion.. I use creamy peanut butter mainly because that's all i buy and I wasn't about to go get chunky just for this recipe. It is really funny how every one is reviewing to change the cocoa to 4 tablespoons instead of 1/4 a cup... because 4 tablespoons is 1/4th a cup....im sure it was a huge improvement for everyone who did that.. ha

Banana Crumb Muffins
I've made this recipe 3 times, i guess i was expecting something wonderful. I don't understand all the hype..To me they were dry. My family and I were not crazy about these. I've made banana muffins on this site much better than these.
