Ciabatta Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
I have tried and failed miserably to make this recipe two times already. My yeast being bad does not seem to be the problem. The dough is extremely runny and hard to work with.

French Herb Bread

This bread has way too much onion in it. The dough by itself was okay, but when you added the filling, it tasted like very strong onion rolls.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
We really enjoyed this crust, but it is a little too much of a thin crust for my family. For a thicker crust that tastes great, I would try Pizza Crust I submitted by Kathi. Its more of a Chicago style crust instead of New York.

Oatmeal Waffles

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
These are great and healthy. I did not have buttermilk so I added a little vinegar to milk. I did not have quick oats so I had to use old fashioned oats and I let them soak in the milk and eggs for a little while. I also did not have wheat flour so I used mostly white and added wheat bran. I added vanilla and cinnamon too. Yum!

Creamy Hot Cocoa

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Fabulous! My kids and I loved this. We only used 1/2 cup sugar and it was plenty sweet. Also I didn't have half and half so I mixed in a little whipped cream at the end. Yum!

We loved this! I made pork chops on the grill and used the leftover in this recipe. Yum! Even my kids liked it!

My whole family loves this recipe. It is even great if you don't have time to marinade it.

We loved this! I even left out all the cheese (can't have dairy right now) and it was a hit! Thanks!

Beef with Vegetables

Reviewed: May 15, 2006
This is the first stir-fry I have made that my husband absolutely loved. We left out the oyster sauce and used 1/2 tbsp more soy sauce. We also added canned green beans right before serving (didn't have any fresh). The slight sweetness to the sauce made it great! We will be making this again!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: May 2, 2006
This has become a family tradition for Christmas morning. Totally awesome!! Sometimes when I am making just for my hubbie and kids, we use pre-made cream cheese frosting on top. Its not the same, but still tastes pretty good.
