Mom's Favorite Baked Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
It was a very easy and fast recipe. This def beats any boxed mac and cheese. It was a bit bland to me so I don't think I will be making this again. I seem to like baked mac and cheese better when sour cream is incorporated. This was a great "starter" recipe for young cooks though!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
This is awesome. Even better the next day. I will make this again and again. Be sure to shred your chicken meat and it will thicken (absorb) the sauce. I added some minced garlic to it. I will make this again! Thank you for the recipe!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
So good! I didn't have a bunt pan so I used a standard 9X13 and it turned out awesome! This was a HUGE hit and totally hits the spot on those "must have chocolate" days!! Thanks so much for sharing it!

Ham with Pineapple

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
Super easy and a great tasting ham. My family loved it and even my girls got in on helping with all the cloves and stemming the cherries.! lol (I think you could cut down on the amount of cloves though, as it does add a VERY strong taste in the skin.) I will definitely make this again!

Red, White and Blue Strawberry Shortcake

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
LOVED this!! I did as another poster said and used the COOL WHIP FROSTING, instead of just plain cool whip and it was EXCELLENT and oh, so easy! I didn't make an American flag because my family wanted the blueberries and strawberries mixed on the top. I loaded it down with strawberries and had a ton of the two pints it called for left over. (we did slice thinly) I'm so thankful for you sharing this recipe. So much tastier with fresh baked cake then those stiff yellow pre-made cakes you can buy for strawberry shortcake in your grocer! I will make this again.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
This was an alright recipe. I followed the recipe to a t. I guess I was expecting something of a better taste because of all the wonderful reviews. My kids weren't fond of it at all and they love mac-n-cheese.

French Leek Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
This was a big hit with the adults! I didn't have the Gruyere cheese so I substituted with shredded Swiss and also added about a 1/4 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese. I will definitely make this again! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

French Fried Potatoes

I doubled this, since my family size is large. It was really a good, simple recipe! We could taste a bit of the sugar but it made them yummy. My family love them and ask for more! I will make this again. Thanks so much for sharing! :)

Easy Irish Colcannon

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
I just made this last night and found it super easy and really good! The textures together are really good! It did require a lot of salt but I didn't add bacon or cheese, just made it exact to what the recipe called for! It's a great and easy twist to boring mash potatoes. :) Thanks for sharing!

Rainbow Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
I thought these were really good and something different than I had ever made before. I didn't separate the eggs to save time, I did add butter (2tbls) and heavy cream (1/4th cup) to ensure the chocolate wouldn't crack when I cut them. If you do that you can wait, as the recipe calls for with no cracking at all. I also used almond filling as someone suggested and added a bit of almond extract. I would def make these again for family and friends. I didn't find them that time consuming or frustrating to make with the adjustments. The hardest part was smoothing out the dough on the parchment paper in preparation for the doughs to be baked. My husband had a great tip though we turned our 9x13 pans upside down and laid the paper on top of the bottom of the pan. That way we knew we were lining up the dough properly to fit the pans. Good luck! :) They turned out really pretty too. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
