Pecan Tarts

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2011
incredible! Everyone loved these :D They were not too sweet and the brown sugary taste was not over powering like it may be in a big slice of pecan pie. I will definitely be making these again. They were quick, and I used a regular sized muffin tin since I didn't have a mini one. I came out with about 12 using that tin.

Lemon Square Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
These were delicious, but they had a funny taste to them after a few days. Maybe because I left them out and didn't refrigerate them. Other than that I may make these again even though they took some time.

Authentic Mexican Tortillas

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
These were much better than the lousy ones from the stores. Plus they don't cost anything really to make, just a little bit of time. Will always make these when making something with tortilla shells.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
This was really good. I now don't have to buy taco seasoning anymore. I put it in beef enchiladas.

Salmon Patties I

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
These were very good. I used freeze-dried red onion instead of fresh to save time, and threw in some garlic powder and Vidalia Onion salad dressing. The only problem was that a few of them fell apart when being cooked. I will make it again though.

Zucchini Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
This cake is so yummy! It's now dubbed my mom's favorite cake. I added nutmeg and ground ginger(1/2 a tsp.) to my zucchini cake to give it more flavor. And I made maple cream cheese glaze to go on top (add 2 T of cream cheese and 2 T of maple syrup to the glaze recipe that's already on the recipe)

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
This was good, but it doesn't make twelve slices. I doubled the recipe and that did it. I also sprinkled powdered sugar and freshly ground cinnamon on top while they were cooking. I will keep this recipe.

Sugar Cookie Drops

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
These were very good. I made them for the fourth of July. I added red sugar crystals to some of them, blue food die to others, and the white ones were just normal. These are melt in your mouth cookies that I will definitely making them again after the raves I got from everyone

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
I though this cookie recipe was very good. I have made the one on the back of Nestle' chocolate chips and it wasn't nearly as good as this one. This recipe (for me) made 5 dozen. But I don't make them huge cookies. I didn't have refrigerate the dough before baking because they didn't spread out that much. I didn't put in the walnuts since we had to throw out all of ours on account to the pantry moths, though I would have liked to put them in. I ADDED 1/2 TSP. OF CREAM OF TARTAR TO MAKE THEM CRACKED ON TOP & MORE CRISP.

Sweet Potato Pound Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
This recipe is also another keeper! I used 1 cup of sugar instead of two, and I used freshly ground cinnamon. It tasted wonderful! It almost tasted like a pumpkin bread. Next time I want to try different glazes just to experiment but this cake was quite good!

Garlic Broccoli

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
This recipe definitely had zing to it. Next time I might try cutting back to 4 small cloves of garlic. I used spicy brown mustard instead of Dijon mustard which might of given it an extra kick. Next time I will also add more broccoli since the broccoli in it wasn't dry and bland at all. 3 out of 4 people in my family liked it. I also didn't add Parmesan cheese or marinate it for 3 hours. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
