Filipino Lumpia

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
My family lived in the philippines when I was little, and we would have this every Sunday for dinner! It was served with fried rice and apple sauce. We changed it some when we got back to the states though.I use just ground chuck, potatoes, green beans, onion, and carrots. All chopped real small, and make sure you put the potatoes in the meat mixture first.I also use lumpia rolls,I like the square ones as well they are easier to unwrap. After reading this I think I will try some soy sauce in it .My family loves this,we even do it for Chrismas or Thanksgiving dinner at times! It brings back great memories, thanks for having it on the site!

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
I also used a stick o butter instead of oil,but I didn't see in the reviews about how sticky they were. When I tried to roll them they went all over my hands and wouldn't make the perfect little ball everyone was saying.I ended up putting them in the freezer for awhile and as long as they were pretty cold they did okay.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
I was going to put my version of this on the site but wanted to check and see if there were hamburger steak recipes like mine before hand.Glad I did, llo.I love this recipe,on mine I dont make like a meatloaf with the eggs and all though.I was in a hurry the day I did this ,and mixed Lipton onion soup mix,and worcestershire sauce, and 2 packs of brown gravy mix.I then cut an onion up in it, and let it simmer for about 30 min.I sprinkle a little flour in it also to make gravy thicker. My family loves this meal and they are picky!I also do not use the wine.I have to say I LOVE THIS SITE!!!I am soo glad I found it!

Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
I made this last night, but ofcourse put my own spin on it,lol.I used boneless pork chops first of all.I also put water in it to keep it from burning as easy .I then added onion, along with seasonings that I like, and a tad of musterd. After reading the other reviews I browned my chops before putting them in.They came out tender and tasty with the help of the seasoning.I do feel they could have cooked less than four hours, but I only had four chops.Good meal!
