About this Cook
Well, I started out cooking when I was just a child and my step-dad and mom would leave for a few days. After a while I got bored and hungry and started cooking my own meals. After a while, was cooking eveything from prime rib to creme brulee to pbj's.
My favorite things to cook
I'm mostly into mexican, but I love to grill my food no matter what
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom was a pretty good cook. I just wasn't crazy about her spaghetti. But being an Okie she fixed some great biscuits and gravy
My cooking triumphs
Mostly it was the early days. I got so hungry and I got tired of TV dinners. In those days there were no microwave ovens so I had to wait 30 min to heat up a couple of 'em in the oven. Thats what got me thinking that maybe I could cook something besides TV dinners...
My cooking tragedies
I tried to grill enchiladas once. They were too dry.

Super Duper Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff
This works quite well. Follow the recipe. Tastes fantastic. Don't forget the sour cream

Meatball Nirvana
This recipe really works! I needed a quick meatball for some hungry kids and this did the trick. I made it "as is" except that I didn't use quite as much bread crumbs. Well done!

Quick and Easy Sicilian Meatloaf
This is an awesome recipe. Ive never been a big fan of meatloaf. But I gave this a try and fixed it just as described with the following changes: I had no ham so used pepperoni instead. ANd i added sliced olives. Everyone loved it. I cant wait to try it again.
