Apple Crisp II
I made this last weekend and it was a hit, so I am making it again this week and I hope to share more of it. My daughter ate half of it by Monday, so I told her to slow down. I shared the remainder with 2 co workers who loved it also! This one is a keeper and I did it just as written! Once the apples are cored and cut it is a breeze to make.

Caramel-Glazed Flan
This is an easy recipe. I was a little scared to do it because of the reviews about the sugar, but it turned out really good according to my daughter and friends. I did not taste it because I don't like like custurds, but I wanted to try it because my friends like it, so it will be a staple when I do Mexican meals. I could not find the low fat condensed milk so I used the regular. I was amazed at how easy it was to do caramel. I have never done anything like that before. Thanks for a great easy recipe!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker
I did this over the weekend for Sunday dinner and it was great! I looked for the Hawaiian sea salt and found it at Whole foods, then I thought the liquid smoke would be in the spice isle, but it's in the condiment isle. Thanks to the cashier and manager at Publix I had my ingredient. The roast was delicious and it was not salty as I thought it would be. It took about 12 hours and I put the juices in the freezer a suggestion I read in a review to remove the excess fat and put the juices back in with the roast and just left it on low until it was time for dinner. I will do this a few times since I have a whole jar of the Hawaiian salt and liquid smoke!
