These were probably the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted. Have to make sure to make them only when the grandkids are coming or I would eat them all.

Very good. A lot easier to shape that the recipe I got from my sister-in-law years ago and just as tasty. Simple and basic I can see many variations on it coming.

Pork Roast with Thyme

The vinegar in the recipe intrigued me. Never thought to cook pork with vinegar. I was out of apple cider vinegar so I decided to mix some apple juice with the white vinegar I had and added some of the fresh rosemary I had an abundance of. It was simply delicious. Will definitely do it again. Will have to try the cider next time.

My son coaches the high school hockey team and my husband has been making cookies for their games. The boys just love these. Only repeat recipe that they ask for over and over.

Pork with Peaches Stir-Fry

I thought twice about this because of the peaches but I am glad I went ahead anyway. I added a few more veggies as I was doing one of those clean the refrigerator things and blanched them for a few minutes but they still stayed firm. I added mushrooms, snow peas and zucchini. My husband asked if we were having company and then proceeded to polish the whole thing off. Great recipe.

Banana Oatmeal Cookie

I thought this recipe was great. I didn't actually make them, my husband who is retired made them for the hockey team my son coaches. I could have just kept eating. Good thing I didn't have a cup of coffee handy to have with them. Definitely a make again. (The kids loved them too)

Baked Potato Soup I

My husband always Baked Potato Soup when it is on the menu anywhere so today when he had teeth pulled and I needed soup I decided to look for a good Baked Potato soup recipe. HE JUST LOVED IT. Since we are both on cholestoral medication I tried to keep it to a safe level by using a few cups of broth to replace the milk and cut the butter and flour by about half, it still was creamy and luscious. I wish I dared try the recipe full strength. Thanks Sherry

Winter Squash Rolls

DELICIOUS. I made these to go with pot roast. Glad I cut the recipe in half as it was just my husband and I and it made 6 giant rolls. Toasted some the next morning and had them with the All Day Apple Butter I made the day before and they made a great breakfast too.

All Day Apple Butter

I wish I had this recipe and a crock pot years ago so I didn't have to stand over spitting apple butter at the stove for hours. Glad I read the reviews first. 2 cups of sugar was perfect. The best apple butter I have ever made and the easiest.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

My husband found this recipe and went by my guidelines to only use 5 star recipes. He was making cookies for the football team my son coaches and needed something quick and easy. They are delicious. He made enough for 45 hungry high school boys in a few hours.

Parmesan Artichoke Casserole

Delicious. I took advantage of the notes above the recipe that suggested adding another vegetable and had some spinach in the frig that I wilted and added. Gave it nice color and my husband just loved it. Definitely a make again. So easy too.

Candied Kielbasa

I was looking for something different to do with kielbasa the night I tried this and it was great. I added sauerkraut, onion and potato to make it more a dinner thing. My husband loved it. Definitely a keeper.
