I really like food! Many people think that gluten free and egg free cooking and baking is limiting. But I have discovered that we now eat more variety because we cannot just grab easy items off the shelf. We also avoid grains in general. I find the list of all the foods we eat on a regular basis astounding. And much healthier!

Finding the best gluten free, egg free recipes out there, trying them out, and compiling a "best of the best" list here in my recipe box. No more cookbooks for me!
My cooking tragedies
Many and varied. My two recurring errors are:
1. Allowing the pan to boil over while cooking rice or other such starch on the stove (my husband says it happens every time - but he is exaggerating. A little.)
2. Forgetting I have something under the broiler until it resembles the remains of a campfire
