About this Cook
I am cooking for a family with multiple food allergies/intolerances and I am pre-diabetic. Needless to say, it's tough to find yummy nutritious recipes that my entire family can eat.

Slow Cooker Split Pea Sausage Soup
I typically use 7 cups of liquid (4 cups chicken broth, 3 cups water) to get the thicker consistency that I prefer. If it comes out too thin for your tastes, you can always thicken it up quickly with some instant mashed potatoes flakes.

Blueberry Streusel Cobbler
A great cobbler/crisp compromise. I made it without the sauce, and will double the blueberries mixed with the sweetened condensed milk next time.
