About this Cook
I love being outdoors, especially with my horses. Cooking healthy, varied meals for my family is my everyday goal as well as improving my riding skills. My other interests are God, music, crafts, and, my newest, chicken keeping.
My favorite things to cook
Anything homemade by me!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad always has made homemade, extremely thin-sliced noodles for family holidays. One day, I'll take the time to make them myself!
My cooking triumphs
A birthday cake that looked like a swimming pool, complete with 'water', for my stepdaughter's 10th birthday.
My cooking tragedies
Anything that didn't turn out like the recipe said it should. I also can't cook well without recipes in front of me. I wish I could one day cook-as-I-go.

Banana Frittata
Wonderful! I added a little vanilla and cinnamon to the batter. Didn't have any trouble turning the frittata over (cook on low heat), just patience helps until it sets. My son and I couldn't decide if this would be labeled for breakfast, dinner or dessert. Thanks for the recipe! Next time, I might drizzle with chocolate sauce.

Amish Bob And Andy Pie
I have a version of this pie that has been handed down through our family, very similar, but ours is called Bob Andy pie. Very good recipe but it does almost take an hour to bake. And, no, it is not CHESS PIE by no means. One of my favorites!
