Followed the recipe exactly except for the butter... here's the secret to making them soft... use crisco instead of butter.. it makes so much of a difference! everyone gobbled them up!

Easy Meatloaf
I have never cooked meatloaf before and came across this recipe and decided to try it. I liked that the recipe was not too complicated ingredient wise and preparation wise. I made the recipe as stated but I did add a little bit of worcestershire sauce to the meat. It turned out great. The only thing next time I would probably do different is putting in less onion. I chopped up 1 onion like the recipe said and it was a bit too much. Otherwise it turned out great for my first try at meatloaf!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
just cooked this today in my new crock pot, it was the first thing i ever cooked with it and it was a success! i was drawn to this recipe because you did not need a lot of ingredients, i used a pork loin because they did not have shoulders at the grocery store, i diced some onions, put it on the bottom of the slow cooker, i cut off some fat off the pork and sprinkled it with salt and pepper and then added the root beer, and slow cooked it for 7 hours on low, then i shredded it and added the bbq sauce on it and cooked it for another hour. i hosted my parents for dinner and they loved it and my husband couldn't get enough of it either. highly recommend!!
