I am wondering when my recipie submission will be posted. I submitted it several months ago. In the Spring when we had Sugar peas. I would imagine it will take quite awhile, but now I am wondering if it got submitted. How do I know that? MORE

Shaved Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Almonds
I gotta say that this recipie had to be changed right away. First I did not have red wine vinegar nor almonds. SO, I used Wegmans Marsala cooking wine and pecans. Everything else was the same. BUT if you know the sweetness of pecans and marsala wine, you can imagine this dish having just a hint of sweetness to it. It is so awesome this way, I don't plan on ever trying it with the vinegar or almonds. My hubby who never liked brussel sprouts helps me slice the pecans and sprouts. I am serving this for company tomorrow night.

Baked Coconut Shrimp
There is absolutely nothing but great about this recipie. I made it as stated. I loved the way the Frothy egg white made the coating so crispy with out adding a lot of calories. I used that egg white that I am not having success with angel food cake (I have one more container to use with that stuff) and it got just fine for the coconut coating.

Angel Food Cake I
I am not sure I made it right. It did not get as high as a store bought cake mix. It took quite a while for the eggs to fluff. I used Land-0-Lakes egg whites and they were stiff when I started putting in the flour/sugar mix and I did stift that 5 times while the mixer was working on the whites.
