i've been cooking since the tender age of 4. haha. mom's a chef and got me started early... and i'm still nowhere close to being like her!

i'm half okinawan, and even though my okinawan grandmother is not a chef, she sure does know how to cook. you know if the family is coming over, there's going to be a feast!

i like to cook without recipes... and it usually turns out pretty good ^_^
My cooking tragedies
the first time i made lobster... grandma loved it, but i thought it was gross. i was afraid i overcooked it... but i figured out it was because i'm used to fresh lobsters and i was in arizona at the time... lobsters=frozen.
