Double Decker Tacos

Awesome idea. We loved it. Instead of making guacamole I just cut up avocado. I also cut up olives, onions, and romaine lettuce. Really yummy. I also added 2 minced garlic cloves to the ground beef. I used a tiny bit of taco seasoning and seasoned the rest with a teaspoon of chili powder, season pepper, and garlic salt. I topped them with shredded jack cheese, sour cream, and green chili Verde sauce. Yummy

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

The original recipe was too salty due to the taco seasoning. I made a few changes to the recipe and give the new and improved recipe 5 stars. Instead of taco seasoning, I just used cayan pepper, cilantro, and crushed red pepper. I also added half a 4 ounce can diced green chilies, green onion and white onion to the mix as well. When rolling burritos I added black beans and green salsa Verde. I followed what JUBEEFISH suggested and put in baking pan, poured salsa and cheese on top of the burritos. I added olives and more green onion and bakes for 15 minutes on 350. Topped with sour cream and served. They were AMAZING.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

We loved it. I made a small amount of changes to the recipe. I did not have oregano so I used Parsley flakes instead. I also fried the chicken in butter, garlic, and a splash of white wine vinegar, as well as sprinkled pepper and crushed red pepper. Before serving I added sour cream. I loved the taste of the hominy. That was the first time I have ever had that. It was definitely a favorite. Totally filling we did not need a side dish.

Creamy Pesto Chicken and Bow Ties

this is the very first dish I made during my journey of cooking. I added Garlic cloves and mushrooms to the recipe and it turned out amazing. I served it to 8 people and everyone loved it. goes well with greek style salad.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

I have recently taken up cooking and this is the 2nd recipe that I have completed. It was absolutly amazing. I followed the recipe but when reading the reviews I really liked the review Megeby put and I went with the way she did it instead. My boyfriend was amazed. I was amazed. I did use ties to hold the chicken rolls together verses the suggested toothpicks. I had no problems trying to keep it together. The bread crumbs gave it the flavor I was looking for. It turned out perfect.
