About this Cook
Full time student and 24/7 wife to my amazing husband of 2 years. As a teen and young adult I enjoyed baking, and since getting married have grown a love for cooking. Nothing better than putting a smile on my husband's face after making a new recipe or an old favorite :) Trying to put healthy and organic twist on everything. My ultimate enjoyment is dinner parties - nothing like experimenting on friends!
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy learning and perfecting traditional Jewish and eastern European dishes, but also love to create dishes from all different cuisines.
My cooking triumphs
Kosher for passover pound cake topped with fresh berries and Jewish chicken soup.
My cooking tragedies
angel food cake..a rubber and egg flavored mess. So sad to think all those eggs were wasted on an inedible mess!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
I love this recipe because it isn't complicated at all and tastes amazing. I have made it as written which was delicious. I now substitute the beef with ground white turkey, which is a healthier but just as tasty option. I tend to like spicier foods so I use hot salsa and hot chili seasoning mix. Adding rinsed canned corn was yum! Delicious served with some corn chips!

Raisin Farfel Kugel
My favorite passover recipe! I add dried cherries and pecans which become delicious when cooked. I think adding any dried fruit (cranberries, apricots) would be delicious.

Simple BBQ Ribs
A hit every time! I use Baby Ray's bbq sauce and am alway sure to fully coat the ribs with bbq.
