Traditional White Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
Fantastic Recipe!! I doubled the ingredients to make four loaves. I used butter flavored Crisco instead of the lard, added three tablespoons of wheat gluten and an additional two tablespoons of sugar. Wow, what a difference to my second batch!! This recipe is a keeper!!

Apple Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
This is the best apple pie recipe! I am surprised to find the filling made out of lemon juice. I thought that would make it a sour flavor, but it made the flavor come out when all put together. Yummmy!!

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
This is a really good recipe for pizza crust and from a chef. You don't even need the 5 minutes like it suggests. For my third batch I used margarine instead of the olive oil. It is alot tastier. After making two batches, I baked the third at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. It was better and the cheese was not too brown. I plan on making this again and again!!

Tutti-Frutti Angel Food Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2010
I added the sugar all at once rather than one tablespoon at a time with the egg whites, cream of tarter, and salt. It came out great. I made one using one to two oz. Decorating Decors for a Fun Confetti version.

Fresh Strawberry Pie I

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2010
I put the 1 cup water into the package of strawberries to make some natural strawberry juice; stir together 1 to 2 minutes, remove the juice then add the cornstarch and heat it up in the microwave. You don't need any gelatin for this great recipe. I used my Miracle Baking Powder Pie Crust II recipe on AR for the crust. It was perfect!!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Excellent Recipe for teriyaki sauce. I would tone-down the pepper next time and I did not use any added water like the recipe calls for. The color, thickness and flavor was perfect!!

Great Recipe!! I did not have any green peppers or cornstarch. For the cornstarch, I substituted and used flour instead. It worked out and still tasted great. Will make this again!!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
I made three delicious foot-long FRENCH Breads (subsandwiches) using this recipe!! Double the recipe. Cut the sugar down to half. Substiute 3/4 cup of the white bread flour for whole wheat bread flour. Cut dough into thirds. Roll dough into a foot-long like stick. Press down the dough flat. Allow to rise in the oven at about 170 degrees F for 30 minutes. Bake at 375 for about 18 minutes. Wallahhh!!

Apple Pie II

I loved this recipe using apple juice. I changed the recipe a little using 1 cup apple juice and only 1/4 cup sugar and added 2 teaspoons of cinnamon for the filling. For the crusts I used my Miracle Baking Powder Pie II recipe. My father and brother says "Yummmmy".

Miracle Baking Powder Pie Crust II

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
Best pie crust I have ever made! It is tender and flaky and tastes like a professional made it. My second batch I made a few changes; I used one teaspoon of salt, 3 teaspoons baking powder and 8 tablespoons boiling water rather than ice water. It came out even better than the first batch. I will be making this one again and again!!

No Cook Icing

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This icing was beautiful and very easy to make. I would highly recommend a stand mixer to get the egg whites to peak. Need to use the icing the same day since the icing will "weep" if stored. Definately a keeper!!

English Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This is one of the best english muffins I have ever tasted!! I did change only one thing. Use bread flour instead of AP flour. Make sure your yeast is fresh and active and to use water heated to 110 to 120 degrees. I have made this many times over and have advice for proper frying: I have an electric stove. Ten is high, zero is low. I used 1 which I would say is medium/low. Fry 3 or 4 at a time in a frying pan with a LID. Use about 1 capful of frying oil for EACH SIDE for about 8 minutes; with the lid on your english muffins, it will fry, bake and rise at the same time. It comes out a beautiful golden brown and is perfect every time.
