Wild Rice And Chicken Soup
Fantastic! I followed "Bonnie" suggestions and used sweet onion, added 3 cloves of garlic, sauteed a can of mushroom pieces I had on hand and a handful of leftover SuperBowl multi colored bell peppers. 3 cups of chicken stock and 3 cups of water. 1 cup of long grain and wild rice and about 5 cups of leftover bbq/rub flavored chicken breasts. Wound up adding a couple more cups of water at the end as well, a bit thick.

Shredded Brussels Sprouts
Easy to make, smells good. Added 1T vinegar and 2 tsp sugar. No pine nuts on hand. 1 sweet onion instead of green onions. Can't wait to see how the family likes it. :)

Pickled Jalapenos and Carrots
My husband discovered pickled jalapenos and carrots when he was stationed in San Diego in the Navy. There wasn't as much liquid as I expected.I've also noticed the consistent additions of oregano and garlic, which I may need to incorporate. I'm still in the hour waiting period, so I'll have to update with how he likes them.
