Wow. I don't care for shredded beef, roast, stew...much of anything like that, but I needed an easy entree for a potluck lunch at work and decided to try this. I tasted some, didn't like it at all, but I'm definitely in the minority! I got lots of compliments, requests for the recipe *AND* my crock pot was empty at the end of the day. Per several reviews, I used a chuck roast, two packages of the Italian dressing mix and beef stock instead of water. Cooked up tender and juicy in about 4 hours on high in my crock pot. I served it with pepperocinis, cheese and sub rolls. Won't make it for myself, but I'll definitely share the recipe and try it again for a potluck.
