Spinach Alfredo Sauce (Better than Olive Garden®)

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2013
I thought this was just ok. Thinner than I expected and almost too salty; for all those calories, I wanted perfection. I did add red pepper flakes at the end and that perked up the flavor. There was a ton leftover, so maybe it'll taste better the second time around.

Tasty Lentil Tacos

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2013
Easy and delicious. We like ours in soft corn tortillas, not hard shells.

Basil Pecan Pesto

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2013
I always have a TON of basil in the summer. One day recently I wanted to make pesto, but only had pecans on hand. I saw that someone else had made it this way, so I knew I was good to go. It was tasty and just as good as traditional pine nut basil pesto. Thanks for confirming what I thought would be a good recipe.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
I saved these in my recipe box for years, thinking surely I'd have a reason to serve them someday. I finally did for a Mexican potluck at my school when I wasn't asked to bring a main dish as I usually am. This was simple to make (I actually LOVE chopping fruit) and I cheated by buying Stacey's brand cinnamon pita chips for dipping. The bowl was scraped clean and several people asked for the recipe. Thanks for a great dish.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
This chicken didn't blow me away. It was fine, but nothing I haven't already made several times without a recipe. Bread and bake...fine for a quick weeknight dinner.

Cheese Enchiladas Recipe | Taste of Home Recipes

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
LOVED these...to be honest, I don't think I've ever hated any enchilada, but these are super good and easily customizable. You could add meat if you wanted, but they are great without them. Also, change up the spices...there are tons of different types of chili powder blends to try, and you can add the other spices to your taste.

Baked Broccoli

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
I was surprised to like this as much as we did...instead of lemon juice, I used lime to go with other flavors in our meal. I usually roast broccoli or top it with cheese sauce, but this is a good alternative and I'll be making it often.

Made the rice with chicken stock in my rice cooker and stirred in the lime, zest and cilantro at the end. Easy and good!

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
Love this chicken...I hadn't made it in ages, but did it again tonight. I'd forgotten how tender and flavorful it is! Served with black beans and lime-cilantro rice and it was totally terrific. Didn't change a thing, except to butterfly two breasts into four pieces of chicken.

Super simple way to ensure moist, tender chicken for other recipes. I've done this about five times since I discovered the method.

Country Sunday Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2013
Love the flavor, but the cheese on top got very hard in the hour it took to cook. I'd rather have the cheese ooey and gooey instead of hard and chewy as it turned out. I think next time I will only add the cheese at about 20 minutes left to cook. I'll definitely make this again! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2013
I took the advice of many posters and cut the salt down in this. It didn't taste exactly like the chicken from my favorite Indian place, but it was good and easier than I expected. The spice is great.

Bourbon Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2013
Very good. I found that the directions as stated don't work for me, even with clarified butter. The pecans were burning well before the chicken was done, so I put it in the oven at 375 for about ten minutes. Very tasty and tender. Made the bourbon sauce exactly as the recipe stated and it was wonderful! I don't enjoy whiskey as a beverage, but it's great as a sauce for this chicken.

Grandma's Famous Salmon Cakes

Yum! I hadn't made salmon cakes in about 25 years, but this recipe caught my eye and my daughter and I and her girlfriend LOVED them...easy and quick and worked like a charm! Nice cheap meal that we all liked!

Spinach Appetizers

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
I didn't change a single thing...although I admit I didn't measure the salt and pepper. These went over very well for our Christmas Eve supper along with sausage balls. We dipped the spinach ones in ranch dressing. Yummy! Will probably make again for a party or appetizer meal.

Cappuccino Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
I didn't really care for this, but I made it as gifts for Christmas with sugar cookies. I put it in mason jars and topped with dried marshmallows. I've gotten several comments about how good it was, so it was appreciated and I'll probably make it again as gifts.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
I've made this twice now...once when my husband had dental surgery and again after my daughter and her friend had a car wreck. The only changes were to make it with equal parts vegetable and chicken stock (I buy unsalted stock in a box) and to add about 1/4 cup cream at the end. Simple, delicious and even better the next day.

Chicken Enchilada Soup III

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
I've made this several times...sometimes with homemade enchilada sauce, sometimes with jarred. Both are good. It's a simple, basic soup that's really good with a quesadilla or as a lunch at work.

Sarah's Applesauce

I've made this two years now in the fall for my kindergarten class when we have our apple theme. Done in the crockpot with less sugar, it's easy and the kids LOVE it. Thanks for a great recipe!
