Cheese Crackers

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2014
I need to 1/2 this recipe so we won't eat so many. We don't like a lot of heat so I only used a sprinkle of cayenne. Really liked the rice krispies in them. I think it would be good with corn flakes too if you didn't have any rice krispies in the house. I flattened the balls of dough with the heel of my hand.

Pickle Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2014
We have been making these forever.. However we don't use the tortilla and we call them Meat Pickles. I dry the ham on both sides, spread softened cream cheese, and then place a dried whole pickle in and roll it up then slice. I have used big dills and pettie dills. When we do these we use up almost a whole gallon jar of pickles. I have my kids make these up because they end up eating half of them before they get to a plate. I have never taken any home from a gathering.

Jo-Ann's Power Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
This recipe is a great base. I must say I have never followed the recipe once, but it gave me a great starting point since I thought bars were too expensive.

Absolute Mexican Cornbread

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
Loved this and would make it again if cornbread was needed anywhere. I did cut the sugar to 1/2c as some of the previous reviews called for.

Soft Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
I think I totally screwed this up. This recipe needs to be rewritten to state that 1/2c of sweetened condensed milk is needed instead of a can. Because I put in a can not realizing that it called for 5oz can instead of a 12oz can. So now I basically have roater pan full of mess. I am glad I made this early instead of planning on taking this over to a friends house on New Years Eve.
