Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
The crumb mixture is wonderful. I even added coconut and Sliced Almonds as one poster suggested. But there is not at all enough Jam. I opened a jar of jam and am putting it on the top of each bar as we eat them. I would at least double the jam if you want to taste it at all.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
This is soooo delicious. It is like a cornbread with zucchini flakes in it. I made it just as the recipe called for. I used an Old Glory Cornbread mix with 3g of sugar. Another poster had complained of it being too sweet. This was perfect. Another said it needed something so I have a little grinder with Italian seasoning in it and I ground a bit of that in there. Mine looks just like the picture #1. I did use my food processer and finly chopped the Zucchini and onion. I salted it and drained it for about an hour and then squeezed it dry. It is wonderful.

Cinnamon Mocha Cupcakes

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
Delicious. Filled 6 muffin liners in a cupcake pan and they puffed up perfectly. After measuring the flour I found that it is 3/4 Cup. Now I know. Frosting with a Coffee Frosting. Yum, Yum, Yum. Just what I wanted. Six Fresh Cupcakes At a bakery I would have paid $4.99 for 6 stale cupcakes.

Giant Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
This was the first time I was able to make a crisp chocolate chip cookie. Yippee. I made them exactly as the recipe said. If you bake them large..they are great but a bit sweet. I will cut the sugar next time. If you make them small cut the sugar and add a bit more flour as they get quite thin and flat. But if you love a crispy chocolate chip cookie...you have come to the right place.

Peach Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
I never heard of Peach Bread. It was delicious. I believe it turned out so good because I used Fresh Michigan Freestone Peaches. They were delicious and in the bread fabulous. I was worried about so much cinnamon but it was just right. Thank you for this great recipe.

Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Pasta Shells

Delicious. We served them to a crowd of 25 guests at a going away party. Everybody there loved them. I am making them for Sunday dinner this week for my family. I will bake half and freeze half for another nights dinner. Yum. We used Ragu Roasted Garlic and Onion sauce. My favorite.

Simple Baked Apples

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
This was very, very good. I am giving it only 4 stars because the presentation is lacking. I love appetizing looking food and mine kind of like gray mud. But the taste was magnificient. It was comfort food at its best. I used Honeycrisp apples..two big ones..and only a tablespoon or more of sugar. Walnuts and Raisins. This will definitely be a "go to" recipe for us Weight Watchers.

Blue Cheese Ball

This is delicious. Second time I am making it. I did notice the one I froze crumbled when I went to roll it in the nuts so I think it is not a good one to make ahead and freeze. It is very easy to whip up. Its what others call "a keeper".

Cheesecake Brownies

I could not believe something so easy could be so good. I used Duncan Hines Chocolate Brownies and followed the recipe. I took them to a Red Hat buffet today and they gobbled them up. The other poster was right they taste twice as good the second day.

Chocolate Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2008
The muffins were delicious. The grandchildren really enjoyed them..as did the adults. I added extra chocolate chips. The chips sunk to the bottoms. I might try the mini chocolate chips next time. I floured them but they still settled on the bottom. Keeping this recipe for next time grandkids visit so much easier than cake and frosting.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2006
I made this for dinner last night. I added a package of Lipton Onion Soup and also a 16 oz package of sliced mushrooms. Overall it was very good. But with the two soups it is very, very salty. I had to add extra water because it was so thick. Next time I think I will add a can of Sodium Free Beef Broth and the 16 oz sliced mushrooms to the original recipe. I will not add the Lipton Onion Soup..too salty. By the way it does not make much at all. You might want to double the recipe.

Cauliflower-Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2006
This soup is exactly what I was looking for. I doubled the vegetables and cut the milk to 2 cups. I doubled the cheese. I like a chunky soup so I made those changes. The potato gives it the body other cauliflower soup lacks. Absolutely delicious. Great on a cold day.

Sorry but I was not impressed with this recipe. I usually make another one but decided to try this one because of all the reviews. The Velveeta makes it taste like box mac and cheese. Sorry just my take on it.

Roquefort Pear Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
This is probably one of the very best salads I have ever made. My husband who does not like any of the ingredients said he loved it too. From the delicious, crunchy pecans to the pears, avacados and the wonderful dressing. I did not change a thing and it was wonderful. I did make it as a salad as the recipe calls for and not as pictured. Delicious. Thank you.

Coconut Walnut Biscotti

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2004
This biscotti was one of the best ones I have tried. It was rich and delicious. I did add a little extra coconut just because I like it so much. I also drizzled chocolate over it. My granddaughters asked for the recipe. Be careful as it is addicting.

Lemon Blueberry Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2004
This bread is delicious. It has wonderful flavor. I used huge blueberries that were frozen and I dusted them with part of the flour in the recipe. They were evenly distributed throughout the bread. I used Splenda instead of sugar. Could not tell the difference. It is a wonderful recipe. Thank you so much for sharing.

Brownie Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2003
This was my first biscotti attempt. I must have picked the best recipe. It was delicious. I went on and made the Cinnamon Hazelnut and Lemon Biscotti. Put two of each in a plastic Christmas bag. Labeled it and put a ribbon tie around the top. Put them in the freezer for Christmas gifts to share. I think they will be a hit. We could not stop munching on them.

Banana Cranberry Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2003
Absolutely delicious. I was looking for a recipe for moist Cranberry-Orange bread. This was it. The first time I make a new recipe I try to make the original recipe but this time after reading the reviews I used 1 cup of chopped fresh cranberries instead of the sauce and I used the zest of one orange. This recipe made 6 mini loaves. I used a toothpick to make sure it was done. This will go into my Hall of Fame.
