About this Cook
Ive been cooking since I was 8 -making simple things like fried eggs and pancakes. When I became 13 I wanted to start cooking meals, like my mum, so ever since then I have been making dinner. Im eighteen now and I am always looking for new recipes, so I never get bored.
My favorite things to cook
-Homemade spaghetti sauces -Greek salad
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is Irish, Ive had many cornbeef and cabage dinners. Aswell, as french canadian, Ive learnt many great meals from my grandmother ( though she likes to stick to what she knows and never likes to venture out from them) Unlike the younger generations My sisters and I, we will try anything!
My cooking triumphs
I once followed a recipe for spaghetti sauce when I was 14, ever since then I have been making my own combinations ( like spinach and feta.. veggies) Its endless. My parents never seemed dissapointed of my dinners ( though I know, when I was first learning to cook, they lied to me alot :) haha
My cooking tragedies
when I was first learning to cook, I found a recipe for broccolli-garlic pesto chicken. I followed the recipe, sort of. I accidetly used al the garlic ( instead of separating 4 cloves in two-two.) I added all 4 to the blender for the pesto and when It came to cooking the chicken, I wondered why I hadnt any garlic left, so I ended up adding more cloves.. and well it was garlic overload.. Maybe, thats why my dad isnt a big garlic fan.. haha!!!

Low Carb Zucchini Fries
I made these for dinners with pizza, and loved them. I'm a big fan of zuchinni, and this was delicious!!!

Chicken Souvlaki Gyro Style
Made this for the family tonigth, and they loved it! They said, it was better than the local gyro joint, (Which is mighty good!) The only think I did to change the recipe was adding a 1/4c of sugar to the tatziki. We like our a little sweet, and tangy.
