Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
Wow! This punch was so delicious! I made it for my sister's bridal shower and it was gone literally within minutes! Next time I will know to make a double or triple batch! Also it goes great with the premixed margarita tequila. We bought watermelon flavor and added it to our own individual cup. Sooooo good! I followed a tip from another reviewer about 1 cup of sugar. It was the perfect amount. 2 and 1/2 cups would have probably been too sweet for me. Thanks so much Valerie!!!!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
Oh my gosh! This was excellent!!! I only changed the butter to olive oil and kept the rest the same. It was to die for!!! I think the olive oil helped make the whole thing a very creamy consistency. It was Amazing! I can't rave about it enough. I will never go back to the stuff in a jar! Thank you Rebecca :)

Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
This was soooo good!!! and pretty quick easy to make. I did follow some other reviewers advice about doubling the sauce and it still was just enough to coat the chicken, no extra. Next time I think I'll triple it so that I have a little extra to go on the rice. I didn't have the Chinese five spice powder but I just added a little bit of cayenne. I also didn't quite double the sugar because I didn't want it to be too sweet, just used a little over 1/4 c. Otherwise, great recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Apple Raisin French Toast Strata

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
I made this for breakfast the other day and it was DELICIOUS!!! Who knew all those ingredients combined could make such a great dish! I did add extra raisins because I just love them and really didn't need to add much syrup because it is pretty sweet by itself. The only thing I would change next time is to cut the cream cheese into even smaller pieces. Mine were a bit big, but it was still really good! Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe! :)

Crescent Bacon-Cheddar Pinwheels

Oh my gosh these were so easy to make and so delicious! The only thing I did different was spread cream cheese on the crescent dough before adding the rest of the ingredients. It was a hit for breakfast!!!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
This was soooooo good! I invited my father and mother-in-law over for dinner and they loved it too! The only thing I changed was no onion (I don't like it so added onion powder instead) and took advice from others about using chicken broth instead of bouillon granules b/c I didn't have those on hand. Added some shredded carrot too, b/c gotta sneek those veggies in for my four-year-old! Great recipe, thanks ELLIE11!!!!!

Spiced Ham Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
I tweaked this recipe a little but I give it 5 stars because my whole family loved it, even the picky four-year-old! I did not have cloves, so I omitted that part. I used pineapple juice from a can of crushed pineapple and used a tiny bit of dijon mustard because I did not have ground mustard. I also used probably close to a tablespoon of brown sugar instead of 1/2 tsp. Everything else I kept the same in the recipe. I did not have time to marinate so poured mixture over ham and baked at 325 for 25 min. It was delicious. My husband wanted seconds but unfortunately there was none left!!!

Nobody's Strawberry Watermelon Shakedown

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
I am having this right now as a dessert! It is divine! I did use lemon juice instead of orange juice as other reviewers did, and substituted the sugar with Splenda to cut the calories! DELICIOUS! I can't wait to make this again on a hot summer day!!!!!

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
I just made this for dinner and it was wonderful! I did follow the advice of the other reviewers and skipped the first step. The flavors of this recipe are wonderful. I didn't have any mushrooms and since it was the ONLY ingredient I didn't have I didn't bother going to the store to get some. I will definitely have to try it with the mushrooms next time though. My husband said there will be a next time for this recipe, so that's a good sign!

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Crabmeat

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
I just made this tonight and it was awesome!!!! I love how the flavors went together so well, it was so scrumptious! I did bake it rather than fry it simply because I'm not big on frying things, but it turned out so good! I will definitely be making this again! Thanks!

The Best Meatloaf I've Ever Made

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2010
I found that this meatloaf was very tasty in flavor but it did not hold together well. I don't think there was enough bread or crackers to hold it together. If I make this again I might try adding more of that or maybe even some rolled oats. Thanks for the variation though :)
